Join us for a special premiere screening & panel discussion of "Tipping the Pain Scale" where we explore the impact of the opioid crisis and addiction. In this documentary, you will follow the journey of 6 people who have struggled with addiction. Following the film, a featured panel of the film’s producers, policy makers and those affected by the opioid crisis will discuss the impact of addiction in Connecticut, and where we go from here.
This event is free to all, with a suggested donation of $5.00 per person.
TIPPING THE PAIN SCALE is a Vivifi Films production from award-winning producers of THE ANONYMOUS PEOPLE and GENERATION FOUND, Greg Williams & 2-time Emmy award-winning Jeff Reilly, featuring Secretary of Labor, Marty Walsh; NFL Pro Bowl Player, Darren Waller; Spoken Word Artist and Educator, Joseph Green; WA State Representative, Lauren Davis; Community Outreach Volunteer, Roz Pichardo; Boston Police Officer, Josh De La Rosa; and founding Policy Director of the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Services, Brendan Little; with Music from 9-time Grammy nominated Sia.

The Redding Prevention Council (RPC) is a member of the Western Connecticut Coalition. The coalition was established by local residents for local residents. Our goal is to foster safety, enrich lives, and provide resources to Redding residents and those they care about.
We are a volunteer-led organization that brings together local area stakeholders who are dedicated to developing and coordinating services that improve mental health, reduce substance misuse, and raise awareness about available resources.
